Speech on the State of the EU dominates the agenda of the next EP plenary session

The European Parliament begins on Monday the 'rentrée' plenary session, the return from the holiday period of the European deputies. This session is dominated by the sixth speech by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on the State of the European Union, which takes place on Wednesday. The annual speech on the State of the European Union is an important political moment in which the president presents a review of the achievements of the European executive and defines the priorities for the following year.
