Mini cameras become a craze and generate long lines at Rock in Rio; see images of how they work

cbn12 September 2026 at 20:33

The latest editions of Rock in Rio have stood out not only for the shows but also for the increase in the number of brand stands distributing freebies. Not all are easy to get, since most require participation in activations. This time, the big craze of the 2026 event is mini cameras, present at at least five different stands at Cidade do Rock.

Among the stands with mini cameras available to the general public are those of C&A, iFood in partnership with Itaú, and Estácio. In addition to these, at least two other brands offer the freebie exclusively in the VIP area: Axia Energia and Seara.

The CBN report managed to get access to test three of these cameras, namely C&A, iFood with Itaú, and Axia. All tested cameras have similar image quality.

The mini cameras are generating long lines at Cidade do Rock, showing that the freebie has become one of the most sought-after items of this edition of the festival, much like other exclusive trends from each year.

Why this matters

Readers who plan to attend Rock in Rio or follow the event know that mini cameras have become the most desired souvenir of this edition, with significant lines at participating stands. For those looking to maximize their experience at the festival, knowing which brands offer the camera and in which areas (general public or VIP) can help better plan the visit and activations to be done.
