Rúben Rodrigues, Azorean and driver of a Toyota Yaris, won the Rali da Água alongside navigator Rui Raimundo, adding his fourth victory of the current CPR season. The driver beat Ricardo Teodósio, who was driving a Citroën C3, by a margin of 14.8 seconds, while Guilherme Meireles, in a Skoda Fabia, completed the podium in third place, 1.12.3 minutes behind the winner.
In the second stage, Rúben Rodrigues started in the lead, but Rafael Rêgo, also in a Toyota Yaris, managed to reduce the gap to just 1.4 seconds. However, Rêgo's attempt to pressure the leader was thwarted due to a puncture that cost him about three minutes, allowing Rodrigues to manage the pace until the end of the event.
Guilherme Meireles finished in third, securing the final podium spot by being 8.6 seconds ahead of José Pedro Fontes, who finished in fourth place driving a Lancia Ypsilon. Pedro Meireles finished in fifth place and Pedro Almeida recovered to sixth position after having lost more than two minutes in a roundabout during Friday's super special stage.
In the two-wheel drive category, João Rodrigues, driving a Peugeot 208, dominated from the start and repeated the victory achieved at Rali da Madeira. With results still unofficial, Rúben Rodrigues now leads the CPR with 125 points, 33 more than Pedro Almeida and 50 more than Ricardo Teodósio.
