The Attorney General's Office reinforced on Saturday the request that all ministers of the Supreme Federal Court have access to the full data related to the Master case before analyzing the matter. The new statement was forwarded to Court President Edson Fachin, within the procedure that discusses the disclosure of content extracted from banker Daniel Vorcaro's cell phone, owner of Banco Master.
In the document, Attorney General of Brazil Paulo Gonet reiterated a statement presented on Friday and stated that, given the peculiarities of the case, it is necessary that all members of the Court have prior knowledge of the entirety of the information. The PGR understands that the ministers need complete access to the data necessary for the formation of judgment on the matter at issue.
The statement was signed, in addition to Gonet, by the deputy attorney general of Brazil. The case involves the extraction of data from Vorcaro's cell phone, and the PGR seeks to ensure that all ministers can analyze the content before any decision on the matter.
