AC Milan achieved an impressive comeback by drawing 2-2 away to Lazio, the league leaders, in the fourth round of Serie A. The visiting team managed to save at least one point after being two goals down.
This result represents Lazio's first dropped points this season, as they had won all their Italian League matches until then. The match took place at the Olympic Stadium in Rome.
With this draw, AC Milan now have seven points in the Italian League, remaining in the upper part of the standings. The team coached by Paulo Fonseca thus remains unbeaten in Serie A.
AC Milan's comeback comes at a time when the team is preparing for an important European commitment, hosting Benfica next Wednesday, in a Europa League match.
