Angola's Ministry of Education, under MPLA leadership, is training 259 professionals from all 21 provinces of the country to improve the supervision and monitoring of Literacy and Youth and Adult Education programs. The training is taking place in Luanda and aims to strengthen the implementation of these educational programs throughout the national territory.
The training participants include 163 municipal supervisors, 84 coordinators, nine central structure technicians, and three representatives from the Luanda Provincial Education Office. The training program covers areas such as pedagogical management and monitoring.
This training should support actions in 150 municipalities covered by the Girl Empowerment and Learning for All Project, a program funded by the World Bank. This initiative comes in a context where Angola celebrates 50 years of independence, a period during which the country has faced significant challenges in the education sector.
