President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva directly accused Minister André Mendonça, of the Supreme Court (STF), of leaking details of investigations that interested him. The accusation occurred during a rally in Curitiba, Paraná, where the presidential candidate was trying to react to a political crisis.
At the event, Lula attacked the Bolsonaro family and tried to link his main opponent in the presidential race, Senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), to the INSS scandal. The president sought to tie the opponent to the ongoing investigations.
Lula reported on a request he made to the president of the Court, Minister Edson Fachin, questioning the conduct of the reporting judge who, according to him, released selected information that only benefited certain interests.
The president stated that, with the lifting of the secrecy orders determined by Fachin on Thursday, it will be possible to know who is involved in irregularities, promising that "the Vorcaro orgies will start to appear, mess with a lot of people in politics."
