A man was arrested in Lisbon after trying to run over police officers and crashing during his escape. The driver was driving without a license and had a blood alcohol level of 1.54 grams per liter, a value well above the legal limit in Portugal.
Authorities reported that the individual did not possess a valid driver's license, further aggravating the illegal situation he was in.
The incident occurred in the city of Lisbon, where authorities proceeded with the arrest of the driver after the vehicle crash.
The man was detained and will now face legal proceedings for the committed offenses, including driving under the influence of alcohol and without a legal license to drive.
