A stretch of President Dutra Highway will be completely closed this Saturday (12) for rock blasting. The closure will occur at km 196, in Queimados, in Baixada Fluminense, in both directions of the highway, with an initial forecast for 2 PM.
The closure will have an estimated maximum duration of 45 minutes, according to the Federal Highway Police (PRF). If there is any delay or operational issue during the blasting, the procedure may be carried out at 4 PM, as a contingency time.
The activity was scheduled by EcoRioMinas, the concessionaire responsible for administering this stretch of the highway. Information about the closure and the alternative time was provided by the company to the PRF, which is advising motorists to stay alert to the closures.
