The Douro-Lamego Hotel and Tourism School still has vacancies available in three courses for the next academic year. The available training pathways are Hotel Management and Accommodation, Restaurant and Beverage Management, and Bakery and Confectionery Management and Production, all lasting one academic year and including a final internship.
Students in the Tourism of Portugal Schools network benefit from a set of support measures, which include accommodation for displaced or international students, free meals, international mobility Erasmus+ scholarships, recognition of merit and excellence, and access to qualification opportunities. These measures aim to facilitate access and retention of students in training.
The school also highlights the employment results of the network, citing the 2025 Professional Integration Study. According to this study, 92% of graduates are working or pursuing further studies six months after completing their training. Among employed graduates, 87% work in the sector they specialized in and 71% found employment in less than one month.
The school director, Miguel Duarte, states that the training is distinguished by its strong practical component, proximity to companies and internship opportunities in national and international settings. Applications run until September 16, and further information can be obtained from the Douro-Lamego Hotel and Tourism School or through the Tourism of Portugal Schools network.
