The Parish Church of São Vicente Mártir, in Vila Franca de Xira, welcomes on September 13th, at 4:00 PM, a solidarity concert that combines music and support to the Portuguese Red Cross. The initiative is integrated in the "Peoples for Peace" project and aims to bring together an artistic component with a social solidarity action.
The show features the participation of the Stravaganza Choir Group and the APM Schola Choir and Ensemble, under the artistic direction of maestro Edgar Saramago and maestrina Ruth Pinho Maria. The afternoon will be dedicated to sacred music, with the performance of Johann Sebastian Bach's "Cantata BWV 4", subtitled "Christ lag in Todesbanden".
The Portuguese Red Cross appears as a partner of the initiative, with its presence highlighted in the promotion of the solidarity concert. This collaboration between music and humanitarian support marks the essence of the initiative that promises an afternoon of concerts serving a solidarity cause.
The entrance for the event is scheduled for 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 13th, at the Parish Church of São Vicente Mártir, inviting the community of Vila Franca de Xira to participate in this action that brings together art and solidarity.
