Justice Gilmar Mendes issued a new ruling this Saturday (12) reinforcing the request that complete copies of the media extracted from the investigated Daniel Vorcaro's cell phone be made available to all chambers of the justices who will participate in the trial regarding the connection between Vorcaro and Justice Alexandre de Moraes.
According to Gilmar Mendes, this measure will enable a more complete deliberation of all relevant facts, allowing each justice to form their free opinion based on a comprehensive analysis of the evidentiary record. The justice requested that, should the data not be provided by the rapporteur Justice André Mendonça's office, it be urgently requested from the Federal Police.
On Friday (11), after demands from Justice Cristiano Zanin, André Mendonça stated that disclosing the full content extracted from Vorcaro's cell phone could compromise ongoing operations. This justification was presented in response to pressures for the complete content to be shared with all justices of the court.
The case involves the investigation into alleged connections between businessman Daniel Vorcaro and Justice Alexandre de Moraes, and the dispute over access to the seized cell phone's data has become a central point in the trial, with different justices expressing divergent positions on the need for full transparency of the evidence.
