The musical aims to demystify the image of the painter, who is usually reduced to just the painting "Abaporu", one of the most well-known works of Brazilian art. On stage, Tarsila also appears as a woman who lost her fortune, was betrayed, imprisoned, started her life over many times, and transformed her pain into art.
The season at Vivo Rio represents the show's last stop in Rio de Janeiro. For the Rio audience, only today's and tomorrow's performances remain. The show had previously passed through the Theatro Municipal before moving to the concert venue.
