Vitalino Canas, president of the association Brazil-Europe Integration Forum (FIBE), told the Portuguese news agency Lusaka that a possible victory by Flavio Bolsonaro in the Brazilian presidential elections would not call into question the agreement between the European Union and Mercosur.
Canas commented on the possibility of Flavio Bolsonaro winning the presidential elections in Brazil. The trade agreement between the European Union and Mercosur was the central theme of his analysis.
The comment by Vitalino Canas arises in the context of debates about the future of trade relations between Europe and Mercosur, should the candidate supported by current president Jair Bolsonaro win the elections.
