Filming has begun for the documentary about the career of Isabel Salgado, one of the greatest names in Brazilian volleyball. The film is directed by Patrícia Guimarães and produced by Conspiração, and is scheduled to premiere on Sportv next year.
Isabel Salgado died at 62 years old. She was born in Rio de Janeiro and was discovered by Flamengo. She made history by being the first Brazilian player to play in Europe, when she went to Modena, Italy, in 1980. In 2016, she was one of the names to carry the Olympic torch.
