UMAR is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, but faces serious financial difficulties that forced it to reduce the number of people working on its projects. Leader Maria Idalina Rodrigues revealed that the association is currently raising funds to keep its initiatives active.
According to the leader, although UMAR's activities continue to function, doing so has become a constant challenge. The association had to make cuts in the number of collaborators involved in its projects due to the delicate economic situation it is going through.
UMAR is an association dedicated to promoting women's rights, having completed half a century of existence. Despite the financial difficulties threatening the continuity of its work, the organization remains active in defending and promoting the human resources working on these projects.
