The sixth edition of the event "Já Te Dou o Arroz" kicked off on September 11 in Ulme, a parish in the municipality of Chamusca. The event places at the center of attention rice, a product that goes far beyond gastronomy and continues to mark the landscape, the memory, and the identity of this community. Several generations of Ulme have made rice a central activity of their lives, transforming it into a tradition rooted in the parish. The festival celebrates not only the product itself, but also the role it plays in building local identity and in the connection between the community's past and present.
