Paulo Gomes, co-director of Sporting's Academy, was present at the ceremony, demonstrating the importance the club places on this regional structure. His presence symbolizes the club's commitment to the development of young athletes in the North of Portugal.

This Sporting Pole serves as an operations base for the club's sports disciplines in the region, allowing athletes from the North to participate in training and competition programs without having to travel to Lisbon, where the club's main headquarters are located.
