Remco Evenepoel wins GP Québec and targets Worlds

Remco Evenepoel won the Grand Prix of Québec, one of the classics on the Canadian cycling calendar. The Belgian rider, who competes for Soudal-Quick Step, showed excellent form throughout the race, managing to impose his pace and claim victory on Canadian soil.

Following this victory, Evenepoel clearly set his sights on the Cycling World Championships, which will be held shortly. The young Belgian aims to maintain the momentum gained in this competition and arrive at the event that closes the road season in the best possible form.

As for the Portuguese cyclists in the race, Afonso Eulálio, who represents the Bahrain-Victorious team, finished in 33rd position. The Portuguese rider thus completed another classic of the season, accumulating experience in this type of race.

Nelson Oliveira, who rides for the Movistar team, was another Portuguese competitor in the GP Québec. The Portuguese rider finished in 44th position, contributing to the Portuguese participation in this Canadian classic.
