The Professional Journalist Card Commission expressed itself "directly against" the inclusion of political power representatives in the Consultative Council of the Lusitaniana news agency. This position was expressed through an opinion issued by the CCPJ.

The opinion was subsequently published by parliament, making the position of the journalists' regulatory entity public and formal.
