Court orders Meta and X to preserve data from Nikolas Ferreira's publications about fake PF document

The Regional Electoral Court of Minas Gerais (TRE-MG) determined that the platforms Meta Plataformas Brasil Ltda., responsible for Instagram, and X Brasil Internet Ltda., formerly Twitter, fully preserve all data related to publications made by federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira, from PL-MG. The measure is part of a process that investigates the parliamentarian for allegedly sharing a fake document attributed to the Federal Police. The companies were legally notified to keep the data intact, possibly to be used as evidence in the progress of the case.
