The Juntos Pouco Pouco (JPP) party submitted a request seeking the opening of a parliamentary inquiry to investigate Luís Neves's performance. This request follows questions raised about Luís Neves's activity or performance in the political context.
The request submitted by JPP does not have a mandatory character, which means its approval is not automatic. The creation of the parliamentary inquiry will depend on a favorable vote in a plenary session, where deputies will have to decide whether or not to authorize the opening of the investigation process.
At the same time, the Chega party also submitted a request related to the same matter. However, unlike JPP's request, Chega's request has not yet been officially admitted, being at a preliminary stage of the legislative process.
The situation reflects the existence of concerns shared by different political forces regarding Luís Neves's performance, although these concerns are being addressed through different processes in parliament, at different stages of progress.
