The full bench of the Constitutional Court rejected the appeal filed by PAN that sought to annul a previous ruling that had invalidated the latest election of the party's national bodies. The decision thus maintains the previous judgment in force.
With the invalidation of the election, the election of the party's spokesperson, Inês Sousa Real, who had been elected in the same electoral process now annulled, is also compromised.
The PAN party, Pessoas-Animais-Natureza, thus saw the consequences of the previous decision confirmed by the Constitutional Court, failing to reverse the nullity of the election of its national governing bodies.
