The Portuguese Government announced a change in the discount on the Excise Duty on Petroleum Products (ISP) applied to fuels. Starting next week, the discount for diesel will be increased, while the discount for gasoline will be reduced.
For diesel, the ISP discount will be increased by 0.109 cents per liter. This measure represents a reinforcement of support for consumers of this type of fuel.
In the opposite direction, the discount for gasoline will be reduced by 0.956 cents per liter. This decrease contrasts with the planned increase for diesel.
The changes reflect the executive's strategy of dynamically adjusting fiscal benefits on fuels, adapting them to market conditions and the priorities defined by the Government.
