The chief of staff of the Government Delegation in Ceuta submitted his resignation after disagreements related to messages from CNI (Centro Nacional de Inteligencia). This is the first official to assume responsibility for the crisis that followed this situation.
The resignation comes after Miguel Triano publicly declared that the official in question had not transmitted to him the information he received from a CNI member, the Spanish intelligence service.
This case marks the first time that an administration member assumes responsibility for the events involving the communication between the Government Delegation and the intelligence service.
