The German company FlixBus should start operating at Sete Rios Terminal only on September 29th, having again postponed the start date of its activity at that location, which was scheduled for the 24th of the same month. This information was reported by Rede Expressos, which accuses the German competitor of again postponing the start of operations.
Rede Expressos is the company that holds the concession of Sete Rios Terminal and opposes FlixBus's entry into this space. The Portuguese company states that, at the beginning of the month, FlixBus still did not have the necessary licenses to operate at the terminal.
This postponement comes at a time when FlixBus intended to expand its presence in Portugal, aiming to start its routes from Sete Rios Terminal, one of the main road terminals in the Lisbon area. The situation between the two road transport companies has been marked by disagreements and commercial disputes.
