The president of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Edson Fachin, ordered Minister André Mendonça to send to the Presidency of the Court and to the other ministers all procedures linked to Operation Compliance Zero, which investigates suspicions involving Banco Master. The established deadline was 24 hours, and the material must be sent on a dedicated hard drive.
Fachin also accepted a request from the deputy attorney general and ordered the lifting of secrecy of the procedures related to the case. The decision keeps under secrecy only ongoing diligences or those that will still be carried out, when their disclosure may harm the effectiveness of the investigations.
The deputy attorney general had pointed out that part of the procedures from the broader investigation was not included in the list of cases whose secrecy had already been lifted by Mendonça. The Attorney General's Office stated that a large part of the procedures from Operation Compliance Zero was left out of the list of processes that had their secrecy removed.
