The Deputy Filipe Sousa, from the JPP party, presented in the Assembly of the Republic a proposal for the establishment of a Parliamentary Inquiry Committee. The objective of this committee is to scrutinize administrative procedures, internal control mechanisms, and the exercise of governmental powers of monitoring and oversight over the Judicial Police.
The proposal focuses specifically on the period when Luís Neves served as National Director of the PJ. JPP, through a statement sent to the press, states that this initiative aims to clarify issues related to the performance and management of this police entity during that leadership.
