The INEM union called off the strike that was scheduled for this Friday. The decision came after negotiations between the union and the Ministry of Health, which resulted in an agreement between the two parties.
The Ministry of Health gave guarantees that the 54 emergency medical ambulances of INEM would not be affected by the planned transfers. This was one of the main concerns of the union regarding the impact that the transfers could have on the functioning of emergency services.
The agreement reached thus made it possible to avoid the paralysis of emergency medical services, guaranteeing the continuity of emergency healthcare for the population during the period that was initially scheduled for the strike.
