The Gardens of the Belém Palace, in Lisbon, will host between September 17 and 20 the 9th edition of the Book Fair, an initiative of the President of the Republic organized in partnership with other entities. The Presidency of the Republic announced today the details of the event, which returns to the gardens of the palace that houses the seat of the Presidency of the Republic.
The event counts with the participation of 70 exhibitors and 346 publishing brands, which will be spread across 123 stalls installed in the palace gardens. This is one of the largest literary events in the country, promoting access to reading and contact between publishers, authors and the public.
The Belém Book Fair is a tradition maintained since 2016, held annually at the seat of the Presidency of the Republic. The event is open to the public and constitutes an opportunity to purchase books at reduced prices, as well as hosting book presentations and meetings with authors.
