Journalists' Union Requests Regulation of Lus

On April 13, the Journalists' Union filed a complaint with the Regulatory Authority for the Media against the Portuguese news agency Lus.

The reason for the complaint was related to Lus's new statutes, which the union considered to be threatening press freedom.

The union called on the Government to regulate the news agency's situation.
