PS-M (Socialist Party of Madeira) today accused the Regional Government of "suffocating families and businesses" by not cutting taxes to stop the rise in fuel prices in the region.
The president of PS-M, Célia Pessegueiro, denounced that the increase in fuel prices in the archipelago next Monday, which will cause gasoline and diesel to exceed two euros, occurs by express political will of the Regional Government.
Regarding the announcement of the fuel increase for next week, the socialist leader criticized the decision of the regional executive, considering that it worsens the economic situation of Madeiran families and businesses.
