A 15-year-old teenager was found alive after spending three days drifting at sea off Alaska. The boy was discovered sitting on top of a capsized vessel, managing to survive in extreme conditions throughout that entire period.
The rescue was carried out by a boat that responded to the emergency call. The captain of that vessel gave an interview to CNN International, where he described the moment of the teenager's rescue.
Authorities did not disclose the young man's identity or details about how the boat ended up capsizing. The incident occurred in Alaska's cold waters, where low sea temperatures pose a significant hypothermia risk for anyone who remains immersed or exposed for extended periods.
