E-REDES announced scheduled power cuts for Sunday, September 13, covering several localities across the country. The work on the distribution network will be carried out at different times, with some areas being without electricity for up to six hours, depending on the affected area.
Among the municipalities covered are Almada, Odemira, Loures, Sintra, Serpa, Beja, Coimbra and Vila Franca de Xira. The interruption schedules vary between 05:00 and 13:00, depending on the area. In Almada, Sintra and Vila Franca de Xira, the work is scheduled between 05:00 and 11:00, while in Odemira, Beja and Coimbra the cuts run between 07:00 and 12:00.
The article indicates that it is in the district of Beja, specifically in the municipality of Serpa, where one of the largest sets of interruption registrations is concentrated. The localities of Vila Nova de São Bento, Vale de Vargo, Vila Verde de Ficalho and Sobral da Adiça are among the affected areas, with work scheduled between 08:00 and 10:00.
E-REDES clarifies that these interruptions are necessary to allow work on the electrical network to be carried out under safe conditions. The database contains more than 200 entries, although many correspond to the same parish and time, differing only by postal code. The indicated times represent the expected window for the intervention, and supply may be restored before the end of this period.
