Trofense presents work about experience as a doctor in the Amazon during COVID-19

The experience of a doctor from Trofa during a humanitarian mission in the Brazilian Amazon during the COVID-19 pandemic is the starting point of "Sleeping among Corpses," a comic book that will be presented on September 24, at 6:30 PM, at the Old Station of Trofa. The work is signed by Luís Moreira Gonçalves and is based on his experience during this mission. The presentation takes place in the author's homeland, in the Ave region. The book documents the reality experienced by the doctor during the pandemic, including the difficult conditions he faced as a health professional in one of the most remote regions of Brazil. The initiative to present this comic book at the Old Station of Trofa aims to bring to the local community the testimony of a health professional from the region who experienced firsthand the challenges of the pandemic in a humanitarian context.
