The European Union formed an alliance with Ukraine to accelerate the production and development of drones. The European Commission considers that Europe has much to learn from Ukraine's experience in this matter, which is why it placed collaboration with Kiev at the center of the European bloc's defense strategy.
Drones have proven to be fundamental in the ongoing war, where they have played a crucial role in both offensive and defensive operations. This technology has become an essential strategic element in the context of the conflict.
For the first time, members of this alliance met in Brussels this Friday. The meeting marks the beginning of closer cooperation between the EU and Ukraine in the defense technology sector, focusing on joint production and the development of new drone capabilities.
