João Moura de Sá passed away, a former political figure of the Trofa municipality. He had a long trajectory linked to local political life and to representing the district in the Assembly of the Republic.

João Sá was president of the Parish Council of São Martinho de Bougado between 1997 and 2001. After finishing that term, he assumed the position of vice-president of the Trofa Municipal Council.

His connection to the public life of the municipality was natural, having dedicated a large part of his life to local politics and representing the interests of the region at the highest legislative level.
