The National Police detained four more Valencia CF ultras, bringing the total to five people arrested for the serious disturbances that occurred near the Mestalla stadium on May 23, moments before the Valencia vs FC Barcelona match.
The four detained young people are between 18 and 21 years old and were identified as members of the Valencian ultras environment. The arrests were carried out by the National Police as part of the investigations into the incidents.
According to police information, those now arrested lit smoke devices and attacked the security agents, throwing street furniture, bar chairs and glass bottles at them.
These disturbances occurred following a brawl that had already resulted in the prior arrest of another supporter, making a total of five people linked to the Valencia CF ultras environment implicated in the events.
