The Castellon Provincial Council will allocate 12 million euros to improve sports facilities in the 135 municipalities of the province. This is an extraordinary aid line aimed at investment in sports equipment owned by the municipality.

The provincial institution has already sent the 135 mayors of the province a letter with the key points of this extraordinary aid line. The measure is part of an extraordinary plan approved by the Provincial Council.

The president of the Provincial Council, Marta Barrachina, stated that with this plan the institution reaffirms the commitment so that all municipalities in the province have dignified, safe and modern sports facilities. Marta Barrachina argued that investing in sport is investing in people, health and well-being.
