A man and a woman, both 33 years of age, were arrested by the Coimbra Public Security Police (PSP) on September 10 at 6:50 PM. The two suspects were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in a theft crime at a commercial establishment.
According to the Coimbra PSP, the couple allegedly bypassed the checkout lines of a supermarket located in Santa Clara, in Coimbra, without paying for the products. The action was intercepted by authorities during a routine inspection operation.
The arrests were carried out on the same day, September 10, resulting in the capture of the two suspects. The PSP did not reveal further details about the value of the stolen items or about any possible accomplices in the crime.
