Coimbra once again has, for the second consecutive year, Criactividade, an integration project run by a collective of students that proposes alternative activities to academic hazing.
The program offers five weeks of activities for students who don't want to be hazed, providing a different form of integration into university life in the city.
Criactividade is a student project that emerges as an alternative to traditional hazing, allowing new students to get to know Coimbra and their peers without having to go through the typical reception rituals for freshmen.
This initiative reflects a growing trend in various Portuguese universities, where some students seek forms of integration that don't involve traditional hazing practices.
