The anime dubbing universe is in mourning. Mike McFarland, American actor and voice actor, died. He was known worldwide for voicing Master Roshi (Turtle Hermit) in the American version of "Dragon Ball Z". McFarland was also the casting director for several anime projects, both subtitled and dubbed in Brazil, having a career of over 30 years in the industry. The news was confirmed by the community of fans and professionals in the dubbing industry, who mourned the loss of one of the most iconic voices in English anime.
