Teia D'Impulsos and Portimão firefighters will carry out a joint cleanup action at Mata de João d'Arens, in Portimão, on September 19th. The initiative runs between 9am and 10:30am and is part of the Arade Azul environmental project.
The action simultaneously marks the celebrations of the 100 years of Portimão firefighters and the International Coastal Cleanup Day, promoted by the Blue Ocean Foundation.
Participants will contribute to the preservation of the municipality's natural space through waste removal and awareness actions about the impacts of litter on ecosystems. The association states that the goal is to reinforce the message that caring for the territory is also a way of caring for the community.
Participation is free and registrations can be made through an online form, available on the Instagram and Facebook pages of Teia D'Impulsos.
