In Cornes, Vila Nova de Cerveira, there is a family project spanning approximately five hectares of vineyards, where each harvest carries history, dedication, and a deep connection to one's roots. The land produces far more than wine, serving as a space of memories and tradition.
The Casal Videira brand was created by Luís Videira, who was also the founder and owner of the renowned restaurant A Valenciana, in Campolide, and of Quinta Valenciana, in Fernão Ferro. His passion for the land and for flavors led to the development of this winemaking project in the Alto Minho region.
Following the death of Luís Videira in 2025, it is now his daughter, Sofia Videira, who takes on the responsibility of continuing this family legacy. Sofia has taken charge of the project's management and the continuity of the work begun by her father.
This year's harvest has already ended and the balance is positive. According to Sofia, the signs left by the grapes suggest one of the best harvests ever for the winery, in a year that may be remembered for its quality and the result of months of work in the vineyard.
