The price of the basket of essential food products rose by 52 cents last week, to 255.26 euros, registering the largest weekly increase since July, according to the analysis by DECO PROteste. The basket monitored by the consumer defence organisation includes 63 essential products and allows weekly tracking of price developments in food retail.
