However, the return to classrooms was marked by a concerning situation: there are still 2,700 teacher schedules to be filled, which means several classes may start the year without an assigned teacher.
This shortage of teachers directly affects students and schools, which will have to resort to temporary solutions or substitute teachers to address the absences. The situation reflects persistent difficulties in hiring teachers for the public education sector.
Regarding discipline and school regulations, one of the novelties of this school year relates to the prohibition of the use of mobile phones in playgrounds. This measure, which was already applied in previous years, has now been extended up to the 9th grade, thus covering a greater number of primary education students.
The extension of this prohibition to playgrounds aims to promote greater social interaction among students during break periods and reduce distractions. The measure applies to the use of smartphones during intervals, not necessarily during learning activities.
