Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, remembered this Thursday the nearly 3,000 victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks. The attack was described by Haq as an attack against humanity itself.
In addition to paying tribute to the victims, Farhan Haq also remembered the survivors of the attacks and the first responders who risked their lives during the tragedy. The UN spokesperson spoke about the importance of not forgetting those who were affected by the events of September 11th.
