The president of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Justice Edson Fachin, requested on Thursday night (10) the removal of secrecy from the Master case investigations. The decision aims to allow the procedures related to the case to be shared with the Presidency and the offices of the other justices.
Fachin made the request to Justice André Mendonça, rapporteur of Pet 15.556, from which Pet 16.662 originated. The president requested that all procedures contained in or related to Pet 15.556 be sent on a dedicated hard drive to the ministerial offices.
According to Fachin's request, only what is essential for future investigations should remain under secrecy. Pet 16.662 is included on the trial calendar of the extraordinary session of September 15, 2026.
