Paulo Branco with 270 Films at the Cinemateca

The Portuguese Cinemateca hosts a cycle dedicated to Paulo Branco, one of the most prolific film producers in Portugal, who has 270 films in his collection. The cycle, titled "Paulo Branco or The Vain Glory of Producing", celebrates over 45 years of career of this producer. The programming of the cycle began with the screening of the film "Non or The Vain Glory of Commanding", directed by Manoel de Oliveira. The cycle traverses the vast cinematic work produced by Paulo Branco over the last decades.
