Anthony Garotinho, candidate for governor of Rio de Janeiro for Republicanos, was interviewed on Thursday by EXTRA, Globo, Valor and CBN. The interview was conducted by CBN Rio presenters Bianca Santos and Leandro Resende, by EXTRA and O Globo newspapers political editor Thiago Prado, by columnist Bernardo Mello Franco and by Francisco Góes, head of the Valor bureau in Rio.
The interview started at 10:30 a.m. and lasted an hour and a half. The series of interviews with candidates for governor of Rio is part of a special electoral coverage programming.
Garotinho's interview was preceded by the interview with candidate Douglas Ruas (PL), held on Tuesday, and by William Siri (PSOL), which took place on Wednesday. The programming will be concluded on Friday (11) with the interview of candidate Eduardo Paes (PSD).
Each interview in the series lasts an hour and a half, and the coverage includes fact-checking of statements made by the candidates during the interviews.
